- VIN on dashboard matches title, window sticker, and finance contract
- Window sticker (Monroney) included and matches the build you ordered
- Confirm tax credit eligibility paperwork (IRS Form 15400 / time-of-sale report)
- Owner's manual, key fobs (usually 2), and any included charging cable present
- Warranty booklet shows correct in-service date and original-owner status
Exterior
- Walk around in good daylight before signing — note panel gaps front, rear, hood, frunk, doors
- Paint inspection: no swirl marks, orange peel beyond factory, or buffing burn-through
- All glass clear of cracks, chips, or pitting; windshield not previously replaced
- Tires match build sheet, manufacture date within ~6 months (DOT code on sidewall), even tread
- Wheels free of curb rash; center caps and lug covers all present
- Underbody check for transport damage and that the battery skid plate is undamaged
- All exterior lights, turn signals, and reverse lights work

- Seats free of stains, tears, scuffs; all seat motors and heaters/coolers function
- Headliner, pillars, and trim properly seated with no visible gaps
- All buttons, switches, window controls, sunroof/moonroof operate smoothly
- Cabin smells clean — no chemical, smoke, or musty odor
- Floor mats present and correct part numbers
- Cargo cover, parcel shelf, or tonneau included as ordered

- Infotainment boots without errors; no warning lights on cluster
- Latest over-the-air software version installed before delivery

2025 CADILLAC LYRIQGeneral Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ vehicles. The owner's manual inaccurately describes the rear outboard head restraints. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 202, "Head Restraints."Consequence: Incorrect head restraint information may lead to improperly adjusted head restraints, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.Remedy: GM will mail owner's manual inserts with the correct illustrations and descriptions for rear outboard head restraints, free of charge. 2025 CHEVROLET EQUINOX EVGeneral Motors has decided that certain 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV, 2025-2026 Cadillac OPTIQ, Chevrolet Colorado, Equinox EV, GMC Canyon, 2026 Buick Enclave, Envision, Cadillac CT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade IQ, Escalade IQL, LYRIQ, VISTIQ, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Corvette Convertible, Corvette Coupe, Corvette Convertible E-Ray, Equinox, Silverado 1500, 2500, 3500, Silverado EV, Suburban 1500, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Acadia, Hummer EV Pickup, Hummer EV SUV, Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, Sierra EV, Terrain, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles. The radio may not have been set to the correct status to download the electronic owner's manual during production. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, “Occupant Protection.”Consequence: Without an owner's manual to consult, owners may not know how to safely use and operate the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.Remedy: Dealers will reset the vehicle radio, which will facilitate automatic download of the electronic owner’s manual, free of charge. The left or right front stabilizer bar bracket bolts may have been improperly tightened, which can allow the bolts to loosen and separate from the vehicle frame. A detached stabilizer bar or bracket can damage the vehicle's high voltage cables or EV battery coolant lines.Consequence: Damaged cables or coolant lines can result in a vehicle shutdown, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the left and/or right stabilizer bar bracket bolts, as necessary, free of charge.
