Calculators and visits
Vehicle and ZIP selections are used to look up specifications and local rates. A page URL may include those selections. Our analytics record visited paths, referring URLs, campaign tags, browser information, device category, country when available, and time spent on a page. A random session identifier is stored in your browser's session storage to group visits; it is not your name or email address.
Custom electricity and gas rate overrides on calculator results are saved in local storage on your device. Clearing local storage removes those saved overrides.
Hosting services also process request information to deliver and protect the site. Recognized crawler requests are logged with the crawler name, browser identifier, requested path, dates, and hit counts. Analytics and bot detection are imperfect and should not be interpreted as verified counts of people.
Information you send us
If you use the contact form, we collect and store your name, email address, and message to respond to your inquiry. Do not include sensitive personal information. Contact submissions are not used to subscribe you to marketing messages.
Service providers and advertising
Our hosting, analytics, storage, and email providers process information needed to operate the site. We do not sell personal information. Advertising is currently disabled. If advertising is enabled later, this policy and any necessary consent controls must reflect the advertising services actually used.
Affiliate links
Some home-charger and related-gear links are affiliate links. When you follow them, partners such as Amazon may receive click and referral data, including the affiliate tracking tag, and may use cookies or other tracking under their own privacy policies. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases; we do not sell personal information.
Optional email newsletter
Newsletter signup is enabled through Kit (formerly ConvertKit). If you subscribe, we collect your email address and any other fields shown on the signup form to send electricity-rate, EV-incentive, and product updates. Signup is optional and is not required to use any calculator. ZIP-specific automated alerts are not currently active.
Kit processes and stores signup information and delivers our emails. Its services may also process technical signup information and email engagement data under its privacy policy. You can unsubscribe using the Kit unsubscribe links in our emails. We do not sell our email list, and contact messages do not automatically subscribe you.
Your choices
You can clear session storage using your browser settings, restrict storage or tracking through your browser, or choose not to submit the contact form. For access, correction, deletion requests, or privacy questions, email sengtran007@gmail.com. We retain information for operating the site and responding to inquiries; no automatic retention period is currently promised.
